Spring Wetsuit
wetsuit and buoyancy?
Once hired the spring shorty snorkel first because it gives the buoyancy and I am not a good swimmer. They have worked extremely well and I could stay afloat long as I could. Now I am thinking of buying one myself, but wonder if only the upper sleeve wetsuit (not the complete, including long pants), could also give similar buoyancy. Any ideas or experiences? Thank you.
With wet suits, is a layer of water between the skin and demand, which helps make it buoyant. With just a shirt above will only be like wearing a shirt. If you are going to be buying a shirt above, I would suggest finding someone who has one and see if you can borrow and see if you like it. However, wet suits should never be substituted for a lifejacket.
